Hey it’s been a while since I’ve sat down and written anything – I’ve been busy, busy, busy. However, early this morning I felt obliged to share my feelings and thoughts through my blog. I have SO many people around me, however, it’s a busy world.
It feels so daunting to say I’m lonely, yet, I’m not alone.
1. Remember God’s word
You can easily feel sorry for yourself on a regular basis and totally reject God. I’ve always felt like an outcast. Yet God says:
‘You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book.’ – Psalm 139:15-16
‘You are fearfully and wonderfully made.’ (my all-time favourite verse.) – Psalm 139:14
I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine.’ – Ephesians 3:20
2. Talk it out
The harsh reality of talking it out helps, however, the feeling of loneliness doesn’t go away. You either fix it, make new friends or accept your state of mind while relying on God. Currently, I can’t find the strength within me to fix the situation, so I’m relying on God. I suggest talking to your loved ones about how you feel and reaching out to your friends.
I’ve never written a blog post so short but I didn’t want to give you advice that I wouldn’t use myself. I could tell you to meet friends but then again, everybody always has someone around them. Basically, I suggest just doing you. If you’re anything like me and struggle time to time just know everything will be alright ennit?
